"Strange Resemblance" was crafted as a contrafact on "There Will Never Be Another You", but begins with an original 24-bar modal blues, featuring horn voicings inspired by Oliver Nelson. After solos on this unique form, the piece transitions smoothly into the contrafact. Throughout, there are several engaging horn soli moments that add texture and depth to the composition.
