Originally written for four horns, this is one of my most structurally intricate combo pieces. Framed by a written piano solo at both the beginning and end, it transitions into an even-eighth feel, enriched with modern harmonic shifts and unexpected twists. The horns take center stage with a lyrical melody, while the rhythm section enjoys plenty of dynamic and playful moments.
